We interview a key player in the US medical marijuana movement, three environmental movers (a dancer/eco-warrior, the inventor of guerilla theater, and a solar energy pioneer), three poets (a beatnik eroticist, and two transcendental clowns), a leader of the Free Speech Movement, a woman who has given over one million books to kids, and drug expert Doctor Hip.
As the circle turns, and anti-war protests go global, we send a toast to the hippie legacy, which spawned modern environmentalism, popularized social and political activism, and left an indelible mark on music and culture... and the players are still playing.
