A reportage of how people along the US-Mexico border are being affected by the new wall.
In San Ysidro, California, there's a park where divided families can meet, kiss, cry and talk, with a fence in between, on weekends. The second wall will end the only real contact between these families. Some of the people we met include Mario Chavez, a legal US resident who cannot go into Mexico because of limitations in his visa, and sees his kids across the fence; And Norma Torres, a US resident who works two jobs in California and is not allowed to leave the country until her citizenship goes through. Soon, they won't be able to see or touch each other.

"Yipao" is how Colombians call a "loaded Jeep". The cars were brought here in the thousands after WWII; they can carry over a ton of stuff, an art born out of necessity, as Colombia doesn't have many paved roads.
The Willys is woven into the modern Andean culture to the point that Yipao is a unit of measure, such as "one Yipao of bananas" (40-45 bunches). The Yipaos are also hired for moving families and all their belongings (in one trip), and are used for public transportation.
What can you do with a Jeep besides load it incredibly full of everything imaginable? Tricks, of course. Teach it to drive solo or spin around on two wheels.
To celebrate their love for the Yipao, the town of Armenia started a parade 20 years ago. Almost 100 vehicles participated in this year's desfile. The loaded chariots are even more impressive when you realize that they aren't just for show, but are part of the daily lives of the people in the coffee growing region of Quindio.
